Our Terms & Conditions

1. General

1.1 These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all services provided by MASE Rubbish Removal Pty Ltd (“MASE”, “we”, “us”, “our”) including the supply, delivery, and collection of skip bags, as well as rubbish and waste removal services.

1.2 By ordering or using our skip bags or waste removal services, you (“the Customer”, “you”, “your”) agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Service Overview

2.1 MASE supplies skip bags in two sizes:

     – Grommet – 1m³

     – Pro – 3m³

2.2 The Customer is responsible for:

     – Ensuring the skip bag is used for acceptable waste types only (see Section 5).

     – Filling the bag within the weight and volume limits.

     – Ensuring access for collection (see Section 6).

3. Pricing & Payment

3.1 Current prices are published on our website and may be updated without notice.

3.2 Payment for skip bag and its collection is required in full at the time of order and pick up, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

3.3 Additional charges may apply for:

     – Overweight bags above 300kg (1m³ Grommet) and 600kg (3m³ Pro).

     – Restricted or hazardous waste.

     – Inaccessible bags requiring extra labour, machinery, or time to collect.

3.4 All prices include GST unless otherwise stated.

4. Hire Period

4.1 The period for a skip bag is up to six-months unless agreed otherwise.

4.2 If a bag remains onsite after the agreed period without prior arrangement, additional fees may apply.

4.3 The skip bag remains the property of MASE at all times and must not be damaged, removed, or disposed of by the Customer.

5. Waste Restrictions

5.1 Acceptable waste includes:

     – General household and commercial waste.

     – Green waste.

     – Light construction and renovation waste.

5.2 Prohibited waste includes (but is not limited to):

     – Asbestos, fibro, or hazardous materials.

     – Chemicals, paints, solvents, oils, fuels.

     – Gas bottles or pressurised containers.

     – Liquids of any kind.

     – Tyres, batteries, or e-waste (unless specifically approved).

5.3 If prohibited waste is placed in a bag, MASE reserves the right to:

     – Refuse collection until the waste is removed, or

     – Charge the Customer all additional disposal, handling, and compliance costs.

6. Access & Collection

6.1 The Customer must ensure safe and clear access to the skip bag for delivery and collection.

6.2 Bags must not be placed in a location that is unsafe, restricted, or unlawful (e.g. blocking driveways, roads, or council property without approval).

6.3 If collection cannot be completed due to access issues, a call-out fee may apply.

7. Liability & Responsibility

7.1 The Customer accepts full responsibility for the contents of the skip bag until collected by MASE.

7.2 The Customer is liable for any damage caused to the bag or equipment through misuse, overfilling, or incorrect loading.

7.3 MASE is not liable for:

     – Damage to property (driveways, paths, lawns, underground services) where the Customer directed placement of the bag.

     – Delays caused by weather, traffic, or circumstances beyond our control.

8. Risk & Indemnity

8.1 The Customer indemnifies MASE against all claims, costs, or damages arising from the use of the skip bag or waste removal service, including but not limited to:

     – Personal injury to third parties.

     – Damage to property.

     – Illegal dumping or inclusion of prohibited waste.

9. Cancellation & Refunds

9.1 Orders cancelled with more than 24 hours’ notice before delivery may be refunded (less an administration fee).

9.2 Orders cancelled within 24 hours of scheduled delivery may incur a cancellation fee.

9.3 No refund is available once a bag has been delivered or a pick-up of waste has been completed.

10. Governing Law

10.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.

10.2 Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales
